Rendez vous avec Mathilda

About

If you're thinking of the film Leon, think again. If you're thinking of Roald Dahl and the little girl who can move objects by thought, you're not there either. Our Matilda was born from the pen of Margaret Rossiter in the '90s: this sociologist dubbed the “Matilda effect” the occultation of women's role in certain major scientific discoveries. Matilda is Rosalind Franklin, who took the first photograph of a DNA molecule; Matilda is Grace Hopper, who revolutionized modern computing.Matilda is all the women in science who have science stories to tell you.
